Hi! My name is Giancarlo and I am a travel enthusiast and photographer based in Franklin, TN.
The real bio: I am a global book publisher and my job takes me to very interesting places around the world, and I thought it would be a good idea to document what I see along my journeys.
My passion for travel started at age 15 when I visited Europe for the first time, and I haven't stopped traveling ever since. Twenty years later I have visited more than eighty countries (but who is counting, right?). To make it short, it was my sister–a professional wedding photographer–who suggested that I should try photography to document my travels. I followed her advice and got myself a Sony A7C, fell in love with it and now I am way too deep into the rabbit hole, as many photographers can relate.
Nowadays I use my Leica Q3 for most of my pictures and my Leica M6 for analog photography. I do love to use my Sony for Wildlife and Landscape photography.
I would describe my photography style as street and landscape, leaning towards smooth and subtle undertones, and using natural frames for emphasis. I am also a sucker for vivid black and white portrait photography. My inspiration comes from photographers such as Vivian Maier, Garrett King, Peter McKinnon, Greg Williams, and Paul Nicken.

My gear:
Leica M6
Leica Q3
Sony A7RV
Rolleiflex 3.5F (circa 1955)
DJI Mini Pro3
